Red Gate Farm is located in the picturesque Baker River Valley in the Town of Plymouth, NH. Originally a dairy farm, the property now hosts the Gallery at Red Gate Farm and Red Gate Farm antiques.
The Gallery, located in the renovated woodshed, is home to the work of local, regional and nationally recognized craftspeople and fine artists. Pottery, glass, wood, textiles and jewelry are sold along with fine art paintings, photography and prints. Janice Maves, the owner of the gallery also displays her award winning quilts, wallhangings, and quilted accessories. Other textiles include hand knit socks, scarves, woven rugs, felted wool bags and painted floor cloths. The gallery is an ecclectic mix of fine contemporary art and craft, with something for every taste and price range!
Red Gate Farm is open May 1st through December 31st, Tues-Sunday 10-5, Monday 12-5. Winter hours are weekends only or by chance or appointment. Summer 2010 will bring a new collection of vintage garden products, statuary, metal yard sculpture, potting containers and other garden related objects in our new garden shed located behind the barn. Herbs and other plants will also be available in our new garden center. Look for our grand opening in May – another unique collection to browse at the farm! Winter Hours effective 10/15/2012:

New to the farm this year is a lively mix of gourmet foods, candles hand crafted soaps and maple products, located in a cozy corner of the Gallery. A favorite is the Red Gate Farm Pure Dark Chocolate -- a special blend -- it is outstanding . Another outstanding product is our artisan soap line which includes a Peppermint Scrub, Lavender Rosemary, and even a Cranberry Spice bar. Famous Chester’s Good Dog Shampoo Bar rounds out the collection. We also feature Stonewall Kitchen Gourmet products, Bittersweet Herb Farm Spices, and Just Maple Products made in NH!
In the Barn adjacent to the Gallery, you will find Red Gate Farm Antiques. A mixture of vintage furniture, primitives, kitchen ware, pottery and glass, there is something for everyone in this 1810 post and beam barn. Art pottery, cut glass and vintage textiles are favorite finds in this unique collection which changes frequently. Come in and browse, you’ll discover a new treasure on every trip!!
